Mary Beth has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for Rockford Road Animal Hospital since June 2015. She enjoys her role here at the clinic because it gives her the opportunity to help animals while educating clients on the best ways to care for them at home.
Mary Beth completed a two-year veterinary technician program at Ridgewater College in Willmar, Minnesota in addition to completing a 10-week rotation at the University of Minnesota and a 10-week internship at a small animal practice in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She is also an active animal volunteer, having logged over 400 hours at a local Humane Society. Working with animals every day is the realization of a dream she’s had since she was five years old.
When she’s not working, Mary Beth enjoys walking with her dogs, hiking, and camping. Her canine companions include two American Staffordshire Terrier mixes named Daphne and Fred. She loves coming home to two wagging tails every night after work. Mary Beth also lives with her husband. In the future, Mary Beth would love to open a sanctuary for older pets that end up at shelters when their owners can’t or won’t care for them any longer.
As a proud staff member at Rockford Road Animal Hospital, Mary Beth wants clients to know that we provide excellent care for your pets. She is part of a compassionate group of professionals who love to help animals feel better. With our updated diagnostic equipment, we can quickly figure out what’s bothering your pet and starting treating him or her right away. Finally, Mary Beth would like clients to know that they should never hesitate to contact us with any questions regarding their pet. That’s why all of are here.
