Technicians - Certified Veterinary Technician
Danielle began working at RRAH in March 1997 as a veterinary technician. Danielle loves working at RRAH and has spent almost half of her working life at the clinic. She considers the staff to be part of her family and has close ties with many of the clients. “I love to see clients bond with their pets and to see the sick pets get better plus the joy that brings to their owners,” she said. “It is wonderful to get to know clients and earn their trust”.
She enjoys attending continuing education, especially learning about behavior and nutrition. She also loves the caring environment RRAH offers and enjoys working with all the pets.
Danielle is very fond of large-breed dogs such as Mastiffs, Boxers, Rotties, and Pit Bulls, but in this stage of her life, she finds it more manageable to have just one dog, who happens to be only seven pounds. She also is finding an interest in guinea pigs and bunnies.
Danielle loves spending time with her family, which consists of her husband, Dennis, and their three children. The family enjoys many camping trips throughout the summer. Danielle also enjoys playing outside with the kids, swimming at the grandparents’ house, and cuddling up with popcorn to watch a movie. She loves to hike, read, manage her daughter’s soccer team, and teach Sunday School.
One day, Danielle hopes to start a sanctuary for senior pets who are either abandoned by their owners or surrendered for health reasons.
Danielle is a 1996 graduate of the Minnesota School of Business with an Associate of Applied Science degree, and earned her Veterinary Technician certification in 2006.
