Her warm, friendly smile greets both pets and their owners as they enter RRAH. As a receptionist at RRAH since November 2011, Tucker loves working at the clinic. The RRAH team and pet owners are great, but the pets are her favorite. “My position here at RRAH has been such a great learning adventure. I love interacting with owners and the staff here but the pets are the best!”
Tucker and her husband, Mike, have always had dogs as part of their family, in addition to their two sons, Michael and John. Tucker grew up with Welsh Corgis. When she and her husband were first married they moved to Minnesota with their Siberian Husky, Alex. When Alex went to dog heaven they adopted a Greyhound, Cooper, from the St. Croix Race Track. Unfortunately, Cooper was with them only a short time because of illness. Ross, their current dog, they found at the Golden Valley Humane Society. Ross quickly became “the love of their lives”. Tucker and Ross walk daily, no matter the weather.
Tucker also worked in various school districts before joining the RRAH team.
