Surgery

Our fully trained veterinarians and certified technicians pride themselves on providing progressive anesthetic protocols and comprehensive pain management plans, helping to ensure the safest and most comfortable procedure possible for your pet.

Prior to surgery at our clinic, every patient undergoes a thorough physical exam. This helps us identify any pre-existing medical conditions that might alter the surgical plan or affect our choice of anesthetic. We also perform pre-anesthetic blood screening on each pet, which allows us to get a better idea of your pet’s overall health and tailor our anesthetic plan specifically to them.

During surgery, a dedicated technician monitors your pet’s vital signs carefully throughout the entire procedure using the latest patient monitoring equipment.

Specialty Surgery

Occasionally pets require advanced surgical procedures above the expertise level that our general practitioners can provide. For this reason, we maintain a strong relationship with travelling board certified veterinary surgeons who are able to provide these services for your pet in the familiarity of our own clinic. Board certified surgeons are doctors who completed several additional years of focused surgical training after veterinary school and now specialize solely in surgery.

Additionally, we can also refer you to one of several nearby specialty facilities, particularly in cases where more extensive testing or ICU care may be required. No matter the situation, our doctors will help see to it that your pet receives the care they need and will be with you every step of the way.

Soft Tissue Surgery

Soft tissue surgical procedures we perform include (but are not limited to): Spay, neuter, gastropexy, skin mass removals, bladder stone removal, umbilical hernia repair, eyelid mass removals, digit amputation, and gastrointestinal/foreign body removal surgery.
