Stefanie

Hospital Administrator

Stefanie has been at Rockford Road Animal Hospital since October 2021 and loves working with this team! Whenever she has a moment, she enjoys getting onto the treatment floor and keeping her vet assistant skills up to date. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2020. She currently lives in Minneapolis with her cat, Coco, and in her free time enjoys reading a good book, hiking on a new trail, and exploring new restaurants and sites around the cities with her friends.

Kayla, CVT

Assistant Hospital Administrator

Kayla is very excited to be able to work with you and your cute pets at our clinic! She comes to us with a degree in Veterinary Technology from Argosy University, and has spent her time since following her passion of caring for animals, especially her favorite animal – cute little guinea pigs! Kayla and her husband live in Shoreview and with her free time, Kayla can be found spending time with her family or playing games with her good friends.

Jason

Certified Veterinary Technician

Jason has been helping care for pets at our clinic since 2000 and loves to see the interaction between an owner and their pet. “I enjoy being able to make a difference in a pet’s life,” he says. Jason knew in high school that the animal field was for him, and he pursued his Veterinary Technician degree from MIM. His favorite breed is the Bull Mastiff. “I enjoy these dogs since they are so gentle,” he adds. His message to pet owners is to enjoy your pet every day since they bring so much joy into your life. Currently, Jason lives with his wife and their dog, Bella, in Plymouth. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, camping, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends and family.

Chad

Certified Veterinary Technician

Chad is a Certified Veterinary Technician with RRAH. He joined the RRAH team in 2000 and enjoys the challenges the position provides.

He enjoys solving the challenges and issues in helping provide care for pets. He also enjoys working with clients and providing information to owners on the best way to care for their pets.

Chad knew he wanted to work with animals in high school. “The day my high school counselor said I could work with animals and not have to be a veterinarian” was the day he knew his career path.

Chad is a 1999 graduate of Ridgewater College in Willmar, MN with a degree in Veterinary Technology. After his graduation he worked at the University of Minnesota, Omaha Henry Dorley Zoo and finally Rockford Road Animal Hospital.

In his spare time, Chad enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting.

Chad has four dogs. A French Brittany named B, Louis a Llewellin Setter, Jane a German Wirehair and a Lucky a German Shorthair. He enjoys watching his dogs grow and change. “I enjoy seeing them become a bigger part of my life every year,” he added.

His favorite breeds are the hunting and working dogs. “I like to see working dogs love the work that they are doing,” he added.

Brianna

Customer Service Representative / Vet Assistant / Social Media Liaison

Brianna joined our team in November 2021 and loves nothing more than saying hello and giving your pets a big hug when you walk through our front doors. Her favorite pets, however, will always be her Golden Retriever, Luna, and her cat, Posie. Brianna worked as a pharmacy tech before deciding to follow her love of animals into the veterinary industry. She currently lives in Brooklyn Park, and in her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends, curling, traveling to new and exciting places, and wake surfing up at her cabin when the warm weather allows.

Amber V.

Customer Service Representative /Social Media Liaison

Amber has been part of the Rockford Road Animal Hospital team since 2022, beginning as a Client Service Representative and recently expanding her role by assisting with our social media. If you’ve noticed one of our recent Facebook posts, you may have seen some of Amber’s creativity at work! Growing up involved in animal rescue and fostering inspired her passion for helping animals and the people who love them. She enjoys welcoming clients and their furry family members, helping make every visit a positive experience, and sharing educational information with pet owners. Outside the clinic, Amber spends her time with Willow, her beautiful Lab mix, whose favorite things in life are car rides and pup cups. When she’s not at work, you’ll often find her relaxing at the cabin, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or exploring hiking trails with Willow by her side.

Breanna

Customer Service Representative

Breanna has been welcoming clients and their pets as one of our Client Service Representatives since 2023. Her passion for animals began long before joining our team, with previous experience working at a doggy daycare and as a kennel assistant. She loves building relationships with clients, celebrating patients’ progress, and being one of the friendly faces that helps make every visit a positive one.
At home, Breanna has Cubby, her lovable Spaniel-Terrier mix, who’s famous for doing a little dance on tables whenever treats are involved! When she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys getting lost in a good book, binge-watching her favorite TV shows, attending concerts, and traveling to new places.

Melissa “Mel”

Client Service Representative

Melissa “Mel” comes to us with over 31 years of veterinary experience under her belt! She’s had experience as a vet assistant, but has found her true calling within the veterinary industry is as a receptionist, helping coordinate scheduling and being a voice of communication between clients and the hospital. She is a mother to two grown boys, who she loves dearly, and she’s had plenty of experience raising dogs, cats, birds, fish, ferrets, and geckos. Mel loves everything about being a mother! She currently resides in Corcoran with her husband, two cats, and a 17-year-old gecko, and in her free time enjoys reading a good book, loving on her cats, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Tucker

Client Service Representative

Tucker has been working as a receptionist at our clinic since November 2011 and absolutely loves her job! “I feel incredibly grateful to work with all these amazing people and have such respect for this organization after 12 years. Even though we don’t have a pet now, I love sharing with all of our amazing clients.” Tucker graduated from Queens University in Charlotte, NC with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Currently, she lives out in New Hope with her husband, and loves spending time with her family, which includes two grown boys, one daughter-in-law, and one adorable grandson. In her free time, Tucker enjoys gardening, reading, taking walks, practicing yoga, card making, and junk journaling.

Emily

Vet Assistant

Emily grew up in Fargo, ND before moving to Maple Grove in 2021 and joining our team. She loves being able to spend her days working with your pets, as well as her friends who work here as well! She recently adopted Maple, a 6-month-old terrier mix, whom she loves dearly. She is featured with Emily in her photo. In her free time, Emily enjoys hiking and camping, reading a good book, spending time with her friends, visiting new coffee shops, and traveling all over!

Michele “Shelly”

Vet Assistant

Michele “Shelly” started working at our clinic in May 2022! She is very excited to be able to work with you and your pets, especially all of your dalmatians and pitbulls, which Shelly has a soft spot for. In her free time, she enjoys bowling, reading books, beading, playing with her cat, and spending time with her family. Shelly also says, “Go Chiefs!”

Megan V.

Vet Assistant

Megan V. has a strong passion for education and is excited to teach you and your pets something new. She comes to us with a degree in Health and Secondary Education from the University of St. Thomas, and enjoys being able to help educate people on her passions. She resides in Plymouth with her husband and an adorable little chihuahua. In her free time, Megan enjoys crocheting, cross stitching, spending time with her dog, and watching a good TV show or movie.

Sheila

Vet Assistant/Inventory Manager

Sheila joined our team in 2023, bringing a bachelor’s degree in animal science and hands-on experience caring for pets while working on the Virgin Islands. A lifelong animal lover, her passion for veterinary medicine began through years of horseback riding. Around the clinic, she’s proudly known as our resident Chihuahua enthusiast! She shares her home with Rita and Boogie, her two beloved Chihuahuas. Outside of work, Sheila loves traveling with her husband, Tim, attending concerts, and fully embracing spooky season—Halloween is definitely her favorite holiday! Fun fact: she competed in the Nebraska Music Olympics for 12 years.

Kylee

Vet Assistant

Kylee has been caring for patients at Rockford Road Animal Hospital for three years and brings valuable experience from emergency veterinary medicine. She thrives in fast-paced situations and has a special talent for emergency and critical care. Her love for animals made veterinary medicine an easy career choice, and she’s passionate about helping pets when they need it most. When she’s off the clock, Kylee enjoys exploring new places with friends and spending time with her son. Her home is full of personality thanks to Luna, her one-eyed cat, Henry, an orange troublemaker, and Murphy, an irresistibly cute corgi.

Lauren

Vet Assistant

Since joining our team in 2022, Lauren has found the greatest reward in helping pets feel better—and sneaking in a few cuddles whenever she can. She’s passionate about continuing to grow her knowledge and is always looking for opportunities to learn something new. At home, she’s entertained by Pinto Bean, a cat who has plenty to say (usually about absolutely nothing!), and Murray, a lovable pup who’s more handsome than he is clever. In her free time, Lauren enjoys running, hiking, gardening, baking, and making memories with family and friends.

Rosie

Vet Assistant

Rosie is one of our talented Veterinary Assistants who recently joined us but started her journey in the field 8 years ago working in shelter medicine. She is working toward her goal of becoming a vet tech especially loves working with our feline patients. At home, you’ll find Rosie with her fiancé and her ever-loving two cats, Lacey and Galloway. She is an avid reader who can be found with a book on her at (nearly) all times, but she also enjoys dabbling in crafts, sewing and spending time with her loved ones.

Maya

Vet Assistant

Maya joined Rockford Road Animal Hospital in August 2025 after gaining experience in animal rescue and fostering. She loves advocating for her patients and helping pet owners better understand their companions’ health so they can make informed decisions together. Her feline family includes Pesto, her emotional support cat; Meep, a regal Bengal originally from Russia; and Mordecai, a stunning Savannah cat. Outside the clinic, Maya enjoys baking, painting, spending time with friends, and, most of all, relaxing at home with her cats.

Aja

Vet Assistant

As one of our newest team members, Aja brings enthusiasm, compassion, and a genuine eagerness to learn. She’s currently working toward becoming a veterinary technician and is dedicated to providing every patient with exceptional care. At home, she has Kane, her lovable French Bulldog mix, and Zucchini, her ball python. When she’s not studying or caring for pets, Aja enjoys archery, playing the cello, fishing, and spending time outdoors.

Amber S.

Vet Assistant

Amber has been part of the Rockford Road Animal Hospital team since 2023. She currently works as a veterinary assistant while pursuing her veterinary technician education. Her passion for animal care began with her own dogs and ultimately inspired her to make the switch into veterinary medicine. What Amber enjoys most is seeing the difference compassionate care can make for both pets and the families who love them. She shares her home with Myla and Maple, her two German Shorthaired Pointers who are truly her best friends and favorite adventure companions. Outside of the clinic, Amber loves spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and golfing. She also enjoys making memories with family and friends—and, of course, bringing Myla and Maple along whenever possible.
